ZAC EFRON FAN CONFERENCE

Penshoppe is really living up its recent campaign of Penshoppe All Stars as they continue to bring in the Philippines the biggest names in Hollywood!  From Ed Westwick to Ian Somerhalder to Leighton Meester!  Now, they bring High school Musical's Heartthrob, ZAC EFRON! (Oh thank you!!!)

I was able to attend the fan conference after getting my passes at Penshoppe MOA, and have it exchanged at any SM Tickets Counter for an actual tickets to get in at the MOA Arena.

Caution: Beware of Zac Efron's Photos Overdose!  =)


The fan conference happened last Saturday, September 29th,2012 at the Mall Of Asia Arena.  I made sure I would arrive really early at the venue so I can fall in line ahead of others since it was a free seating event.  To my surprise there were already about 100 - 200 people lined up near Coral Gate!  When the doors opened at past 6pm, it became a bit chaotic, everyone was hurrying inside.  Good thing the security guards were alert of the possible stampede and made sure all fans would be safe.

The show started at around 9pm with some of the GMA Artists opening for the show.

I know you are all dying to see Zac Efron's Pictures, so here they are! This is in no particular order of the event.  Thanks to my dear friend and fangirl buddy, Manilyn!

"The Perks of Being a Wallflower" Gala Night

"We accept the love we think we deserve..."

This may have been just one of the many famous lines you would remember if you have read the book, "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" written by Stephen Chbosky, and was released in February 1st, 1999.  This year, the novel was made into a film and starred Emma Watson, Ezra Miller, and Logan Lerman who played the lead role of a teenage boy named Charlie.

I have been lucky to receive 10 movie tickets for its Philippine premiere courtesy of Astroplus and shared it with a few friends. (Thank you all for joining even if it's a late invitation =) Special mention to Eda, Jake & girlfriend Mae )   I haven't read the book, so I didn't really know what to expect, except that there's Emma Watson from one of my favorite fantasy films, Harry Potter and the cute guy on the poster, Ezra Miller. =)   I was later surprised to see that the author Stephen Chbosky himself, wrote the screenplay and directed the film!

 I won't discuss what exactly happened in the story for those who haven't read it, but definitely the public should watch out for Ezra Miller who played as Patrick, Sam's step-brother portrayed by Emma Watson.  He well-acted his role and thought that he may have overshadowed Logan Lerman who is on the lead because of the intensity of his part and how he portrayed it.  =)

Before the actual screening, Alcatel also gave out cellphones to those lucky audiences.  Too bad I didn't win, but perhaps next time :(

If you can, find time to catch "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" at the big screen.  As for me? I'll probably buy the book this weekend. :)
